The diary from a normal week at home in Sweden.I don´t think my father and
his generation ever had a diary like this. What happened?
Just imagine the electronic equipment of a Swedish home in the 70 ies,and
today. We have 4 remote controls for our televison at home with manuals for
each one,and I need 13 secret codes to manage my daily life.
In the "modern world" no one believes in anything but to consume, and we
are all encouraged to consume in the name of "increased national product
and wellfare".And so we continue running in this commercial machinery to
get more and more things ,but for many with an empty feeling in their
hearts. Why is it that you see so many sad faces in Sweden, and so many
happy faces in Polynesia, and is really endless commercial growth possible
in a world of limited resources.........
