Dora Mac is now resting on a mooring in Porto Petro supervised by the staff from Porto Petro marina and another month has passed onboard.
Dora Mac has given us her share of problems with leak from the domestic watersystem and clogged fuel filters. All of it has been taken care of and the repair of the ripped off pollard was of good standard.
Staying allmost two weeks in a hot Valetta waiting for our VAT certificate was also on the downside of this trip and while whining anyway I also have to say this time of the year, Mediterranean is to hot.
All passages have been very rewarding and I´m still struck by the comfort a boat like this delivers to her crew. Sicily was a gem. Genuine and beautiful. Except for the long VAT procedure that forced us to change plans and flighttickets, everything else has been working according to plans.
I will be back late September and continue through the Balearics and further along the coast of the Spanish mainland.
Dora Mac has winterquarters in Cartagena.
