We headed round at first light and were the 4th boat in the bay, we managed to tuck up in the NE corner so would get great protection when the wind went North however we had to endure the sea rolling in for the day which was a little uncomfortable especially as we were close to the low cliff shore so the waves bounced back at us as well. We were however glad to be here when the wind went round to NW and N as we were very protected and had a really rather easy time compared to some other boats nearby. The anchorage filled up a bit during the day as boats came round from Blackpoint or other less protected anchorages.
Once the wind was NW we were well protected.
The following day was flat calm, quite a few boats left but we stayed and went ashore to stretch our legs, go for a little walk on the beach and meet some of the other cruisers who were all doing the same thing.
