30:45.73N 81:28.37W It was a lovely warm sunny day and after the Pancake
breakfast we caught the tide down to Cumberland island anchored and after a trip
up the mizzen mast to run a different antenna for the SSB radio we went ashore
for a walk through the woods. The trees are all covered with Spanish Moss (or so
I am told) its a parasite which seems to be everywhere here but is very pretty
and turns the woods into an enchanted forest!
America seems to have millions of squirrels, this little fellow was sitting
in a tree screeching at something – it made a hideous noise.
