We motored round and anchored in Fishing Bay, it's fantastic to be afloat again.
Emma and Stefan are in the marina there, they invited us to join them the following day to go to  the local museum where there was a bit of a car show, some stalls, food, music and the museum was open to the public. We had a great time.

This car is the same age as me - but in somewhat better condition 🤣.
Nice car - no leg room in back though 😬.

We still had a fair few jobs to do, put main and genoa sails back up - we only managed to do the mizzen and Staysail before we were launched, I had a few sewing projects - replacing hatch covers that have seen better days, making covers for our new propane tanks, repairing the dinghy chaps etc the list is quite long🤣.To add to our list we found that our dinghy took on a lot of water when we went ashore, on close inspection we discovered some pin holes in the aluminium hull, there were actually about 11 in the end!  Steve sanded and cleaned and tried to fill but repair no1 didn’t work so we decided to sand some more and just cover the whole area with matting and epoxy, repair 2 is so far a success and we didn’t have to splash out on a new dinghy as we first feared although i think it's just a matter of time before we do, in the mean time any new holes will get the same treatment and we will keep our🤞.
While we had the epoxy made up Steve repaired our chart plotter housing as well which has been cracked for a little while.
We did more boat maintenance jobs, engine oil change, cleaned our fuel tank, we have made our own fuel polishing kit and used it to get rid of water sludge that accumulates in the fuel tank, we - well I used to syringe it out with big syringes which has worked for us but is painfully slow and messy so we have a small fuel pump. hoses and a filter that can do the job much more efficiently, but for each job we do we find another pops up and so the to do list doesn’t get smaller very quickly. it does get smaller though!
New Propane tank covers made ✔️

and new Clear vinyl in from window covers - not sure what happened to it while we were in UK😬.
from brown to nice and clear again
Terrapin with Baxter and Molly on board came round to the marina from Stingray boat yard to get some work done on their engine, Molly took a couple of lovely photos of Innamorata from the dock for us.
We spent about 2 weeks all in all in Fishing bay, when we weren’t working on the boat we spent time with Stefan and Emma who are in the process of selling their boat - Pintail which proved to be very stressfull at times, being an english boat they had to import it into USA to sell it but it still caused a few hiccups for them. It looks like the sale will go through but in the mean time they decided to head off on a bit of a road trip so we joined them on Pintail for what should be their last Sundowners on board as her owners, we will miss their company and hope to see them both again either as we travel south or back in the UK next year.
