As there are strong winds forecast for a couple of weeks starting on Thursday we decided to head for the USVI’s and decided to stop at Little Jost Van Dyke on route to see if the Playground dive there was possible. We had a lovely sail with cruising chute and mizzen, when we arrived there were roller waves coming in through the cut between Little JVD and Green Cay so we ruled the dive out 😢 shame as recent reviews are good with a good number of sharks and rays! I remember enjoying the snorkelling and seeing nurse sharks in the cut in 2012. I did go for a snorkel but the nearer the cut I got the poorer the visibility, the waves were really stirring things up! We had a pleasant night though pretty much by ourselves.
