41:21.48N 71:30.34W Time to head back to Long Island Sound as Carol flies back to UK on the 26th. We got up early to get a bus to a marine supplier, dinghied ashore and asked the first person we saw where the bus stop was for the supplier. He showed us on a map where we would have to get off and said it was a long walk from there. He took us there in his car, waited while we got what we wanted and then drove us back, reinforcing what we have said about the American friendliness and generosity.

We have stopped at Point Judith to catch the tide tomorrow back into the sound, it seems a good stop over however the fog horn seems to be on despite the sunshine and lack of fog!
