As there was little wind today we decided it was the ideal opportunity to visit the near perfect atoll of Hogsty reef with its horseshoe shaped reef some 30+ miles from any other land with surrounding sea of falling rapidly to 400m then on over 1500m, approaching it you see 2 conspicuous wrecks first then a couple of low lying islands. It is about as remote as you get in the Bahamas and we were surprised to find another yacht already here when we arrived, we apologised for disturbing their solitude!
