With a sort of weather opportunity to move on south we woke to fog and no wind, at first light we could just about see the shore and decided we could see enough to head out of the anchorage. The anchor was well and truly dug in but came up after a little bit of persuading, we slowly made our way out of the anchorage - the channel is shallow but it was after low tide and had 0.1m under us on our way to the ICW and again just before the bridge we only had 0.1m under the keel, Though the bridge had 65ft clearance we were on our way and happy to have got out without any hiccups!
The trip down to Lake Worth was ok - we had to motorsail more than we thought but did manage to sail for a few hours arriving at the entrance - of course the tide was ebbing so we decided to anchor not to far into the Lake and settle for the night and move down towards West Palm Beach on the tide the next day.
