Come daylight this morning we put the Genoa away and went with Cruising Chute and mizzen, again we have made steady progress in the right direction most of the time - the wind is a little too far behind to go exactly where we want but it's good enough. Disappointingly we only spotted one whale after we had passed Samana Bay on the Dominican Republic - which is a famous Whale watching area. We did see it blow off 5 or 6 times and it came fairly close to the boat - I managed to get a few pictures and from them we have decided that there were in fact 2 whales and comparing the pictures to a book on whales we are fairly sure they were they were humpbacks.
