We set off yesterday at first light, managed to get out of Nassau harbour before the first of the many daily cruise ships entered the harbour. We had a slow nut good sail up along the south of the Berry islands and got the the Bahamas Northwest channel at about 15.30, from there we headed across the shallows and this morning we were just in the Gulf Stream heading NW, the wind has been light so we haven’t made a great distance but we are moving in the right direction. The forecast is for very light winds today 8-9 knots, but with 2.5-3.5 knots of current we should keep moving!
