Today we excelled and had main, mizzen and Genoa up for the 55+mile sail down to Georgetown, early in the trip the wind was a little fickle but as we cleared the island it settled down and  was on the beam for most of the trip, we had a great sail arriving at Georgetown at 15.15.
As expected the anchorage was busy although there were only apparently 290 boat on the daily boat count 🫣. We found a spot to anchor in the lumpy, not protected part of the anchorage, not too far from Rockhopper and settled in. By far the majority of boats are American followed by Canadian with a handful of European and other nationality boats, Apart from us and Rockhopper there appears to be one other UK flagged boat! In a few days the Cruisers regatta starts here so many more boats are expected over the next few days, soon we had the dinghy in the water and went over to say hello to Jo and Carl, it's so good to see them again and speak to some English people, we have a lot of American friends but it's not the same as being with Brits!
We hope to catch up a few times before their friends arrive in 5 days and they head off.
