The free dock at Great Bridge

The morning was bright and cold when we set off early through the open rail road bridge to make the first bridge opening of the day for the Centerville Road bridge a few miles south.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We weren't alone heading south as we wait with 8 other yachts and a tug for the bridge to open.

 

We had been looking forward to the colourful autumn leaves on the trees but Sandy blew most of the leaves off early as well as a few trees over.
