50:36.82N 002:26.40W Today was a much nicer day though cold at times, we were going to head for Beer near the river Axe to anchor for the night as the best time to get round Portland Bill was not till 21.30 this evening, however once we left Hall Sands we were able to contact Adrian and Jane on Blue Bird an Oyster 39 we met in the Azores and who we have been messaging since we left, they were behind us and today found them only  10 miles away when we spoke on the VHF, Weymouth is their home port so they were heading straight for Weymouth and we decided to head straight there too.  We sailed slowly reducing sail as the wind increased to arrive at a good time for the inshore passage and got to Weymouth just before 10pm and anchored off the beach with Blue Bird close by..
