41:27.87N 70:35.63W With friends to meet in Vineyard Haven we woke early to thick fog and thought twice about upping anchor and moving, we knew that we had to leave early to take advantage of the tide and arrive at our destination before strong winds and the threat of thunderstorms. After a good look at the weather forecast we decided to leave knowing we could easily come back if need be and headed off with virtually no visibility, after an hour and a half the fog had lifted and we were having a good sail which continues all the way to Vineyard Haven on the north shore of Martha's Vineyard. We anchored next to Craig and Karene on Il Sogno and were invited on board for a drinks and meal, a lovely evening and perfect end to the day.
