24:13.90N 55:52.08W at 12.00UTC We are happy with our progress so far. We had a lumpy night but this morning the wind and seas have reduced and we are now sailing with full main, genoa and staysail for the first time since we left, we are also managing to head much more easterly back towards the track we want to be on. Yesterday Gerry was considering getting psychiatric help when he gets back to the UK to see what possessed him to volunteer for days healed over beating to windward! He feels better today though! As well as our 2 daily chats with Ian and his weather updates we managed to talk to the legendary weather router Herb yesterday via a relay for the first time, he's in Canada so it was a big ask for the SSB to get all the way to him but we hear him well, basically we are going to have lighter SE winds for the next couple of days so we will make the most of our easterly heading and a flatter boat. I might even get to wash my hair! So far we haven't seen any dolphins etc. just lots of flying fish and this morning we had 6 of them dead on deck, poor things!
Well its time to make bread and the boys some food so this is all for today.
PS we love the pirate jokes, more please.
