The dock has bad reputation among cruisers and for a good reason. Space is often limited where it´s deep enough and the ever blowing strong tradewinds will blow you away from the dock. In leeward is a reef only 30m away giving limited space to manouver. We were lucky with space just in front of a tug boat and could make a starboard landing with the wind astern instead of the beam. The customsofficer watching us land didn´t assist but the Venezuelan fishermen on the neighbour boat took our mooringlines and gave us some fruits.
Procedures at immigration and customs was straightforward although they took our two spearguns in custody.
After customs we departed for Arashi Bay which looks like one of few descent anchorages on Aruba.
