Vi har hatt bra fart det siste døgnet - men vinden har som lovet dreid mer nordlig som gjør at livet ombord er blitt mer humpete og vi ikke lenger klarer å seile riktig kurs mot Falmouth. Vinden er blitt sterkere enn spådd men heldigvis ikke så mye østlig komponent som vi fryktet. Det er vanskelig å holde seg på stolen her ved PC-en så dagens rapport blir kort. Vi har sett hval og delfiner igjen, og tre spanske fiskebåter var kloss inn til oss på morgentimene i dag. I lag med nordavinden kommer ofte sola som har væt en liten trøst til oss - selv om den nå har forsvunnet. Motoren har vi ikke hatt bruk for.

 

 

We have had good speed the last day, but the wind has turned to the north as predicted which makes life on board a little more lumpy and at an angle to the horizontal. We just can't stand our true course in to Falmouth at the moment, but hopefully the wind will come more westerly as we approach the English Channel. It is pretty awkward to sit at the PC today so the blog will be short. We have seen whales and dolphins as usual; three spanish fishing boats have also been close by but otherwise nothing else on the sea. The northerly wind did at least give us clear weather with sunshsine today - though the sun is now firmly placed behind a cloud. We haven't troubled the motor.
