Sorry about not sending the blog yesterday - but I was knocked out with sea sickness and no one else had it in them to do the blog either. We have had 36 pretty tough hours since the start with high seas and headwinds. We have had to motor a lot, and heading further south than our desired course in order to make some progress and avoid some of the crashing off waves. Now the sea has quietened down and we are sailing on course for Madeira at 4.5 knots. Nice not to have the waves and headwinds! I am recovering slowly, and have managed to eat some and drink milky tea. The forecast says little wind from now on - I hope it is right.
