Boats on moorings at Ballachulish.
Today was such a nice day, and the place we are staying so beautiful and peaceful, that we decided to stay here for the day. Sunshine, and no wind in the morning, so it was brekfast on deck, then off for a three hour walk in the local mountains - which are truly beautiful.

Dinner last night, alse enjoyed on deck, was accompanied by a bagpipe player, playing at the end of the bay. We walked over to him after eating, and were soon chatting about our trip, about pipe playing, what he does etc. After playing another song for us, which I have on video, we went to the hotel for a beer, and sponsored the chap with a glass of whisky for his efforts.

After our walk, we were a bit weary, so a post-lunch nap was in order (this despite not rising until nine this morning). Our mooring fees of £15 (very expensive) include access to the hotel's swiming pool, jacuzi, sauna etc, so the rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing there. To avoid the harbour fees for tinight we motored off to the bay pictured above and picked up a mooring..
