 Vi nøt enda en kjempegod middag på den samme restauranten - denne gangen sammen med Dream Catcher og Helmax (se dagens øverste bilde av de impliserte, pluss båtene). Dagens vær har vært litt mindre overskyet enn i går, samt at vinden har kommet tilbake - alltid deilig å få litt luftstrømning gjennom båten. Selv om det er søndag er den flotte matbutikken åpen noen timer, så vi gikk og handlet mat til noen dager der sammen med Anne Grethe og Helena fra Dream Catcher. Det var så mye god mat at det var vanskelig å vite hva vi skulle spise de neste dagene, men endte opp med andebryst og litt fisk. Vi reiser nok herifra i morgen for å ligge på litt mer øde plasser. Jeg har brukt litt tid i dag til forebyggende vedlikehold av ankervinsjen (se bilde #2). Vinsjen brukes mye her og har godt av å bli rengjort for gammelt fett, og smurt inn med nytt fett av og til. Man skal også sjekke oljenivået og etterfylle etter behov. Får man vinsjhaveri her blir livet surt når 25kg med anker samt tung kjetting skal opp på dekk.

 

 

We enjoyed another delightful meal out last night - this time together with our friends from Dream Catcher and Helmax (see today's top picture of the crews and boats). Today's weather has been less cloudy and with more wind than yesterday - which is a relief to get some cooling air flow through the boat. Even though it is Sunday and most things are shut, the supermarket is open for a few hours in the morning and we walked to it together with Anne Grethe and Helena from Dream Catcher. There was so much delicious looking food that we had difficulty deciding on what to eat for the next few days. We ended up with some fish and duck breast. We will leave here tomorrow for some more deserted place for a day or two. We will return for the final preparations. The otherwise lazy Sunday has at least seen me giving some preventative maintenance to the anchor windlass. This needs to be dismantled, cleaned and re-greased periodically, together with a check and top up of the gear oil level. See the second picture. With a 25kg heavy anchor and lots of 10mm chain, life without a windlass would be backbreaking work.
