Bare en kort blog idag - det er sent på kvelden! Vi brukte formiddagen på
Beatles-museum - meget underholdende. Deretter tok vi toget til Southport der vi
traff Georg og Jill - våre venner fra Årdal. Der er på besøk hos Hilda - mora
til Jill. Vi så litt av fotballkampen mellom Tyskland og Sverige. Georg hadde
veddet ti pund på at Sverige ville vinne 3-1, men Tyskland fikk to mål etter
tolv minutter, og kampen mistet sin interesse. Etterpå ble det en bedre middag
på restaurant, og tilbake til leiligheten til Hilda for et glass vin. Kvelden
gikk altfor fort, og vi måtte komme ombord toget tilbake til Liverpool. Bildet:

 Just a short blog today - it is pretty late now. This morning was spent at
the Beatles-museum - great! Then we took the train to Southport where we
met Goerge and Jill, our friends from Årdal. They are visiting Jill's mother
Hilda who lives there. We watched the first half of the Germany-Sweden
football game; George had ten pounds on Sweden to win 3-1, but after 12 minutes
Germany was allready 2-0 ahead, and the game lost its interest. After that we
had a super meal at a nice restaurant in Southport, then walked to Hilda's flat
nearby for a glass of wine. The evening went far to quickly and we soon had to
head for the train station to get back to Liverpool. Todays picture: George and
