Her hadde Thorstein ordnet oss flott kaiplass i båthavnen like ved huset.

There was a lot of wind last night, even in our protected harbour on Stolmen. Fortunately the worst of the wind had gone by the time we were out at sea today. However, the sea state was very confused with big waves and a lot of reflected waves from the steep shoreline. It was probably the most unpleasant sail we have had since the crossing from Portugal to Madeira! Fortunately we could sail at seven knots or more and were soon in the protection of the coastal archipelago again. We came this way in order to visit Thorstein and Trude. Thorstein you may remember crewed with us from the Azores to England. He had arranged a fine place for us to moor in the local boat harbour and then dished up a delightful dinner with wine from South Africa - where he had been working recently. They have a super new house by the sea, with s special "boys' room" above the garage where I am sitting writing the blogg. Today's pictures: Thorstein guides us into harbour; dinner.
