Distance run in 25 hours (clocks went back again): 130
Total distance run: 1807
Distance left: 257

The clocks went back an hour again to gradually bring us in line with Barbados, and that should have meant an extra half hour's sleep each, but the sea had other ideas. All day it had a gentle rolling swell, until early evening when it became very confused and was sending up swell from every which way so that the boat was moving in a most uncomfortable fashion. Coupled with lightish winds which had the sails emptying and then filling again with a loud 'whup' and a jerk of the boat, it made for an uncomfortable night with disturbed sleep.

However, the miles are still gradually rolling along and we now have a couple of days left to go. If we can maintain 5 knots average we should make it in daylight on the 6th, however, the wind is again light and fickle today so we may not make 5 knots and those not necessarily in the right direction! Oh, the joys of sailing!
