still chilling out in Skiathos

Not much to report
at the moment, which some might say is boring, but some might call a nice
change! We were going to go sailing yesterday, but decided with the very
changeable weather at the moment and Chris's stitches still in, we would rather
just chill out here for a few days. We have a good spot on the town quay
which we hope to keep until Saturday when Rachel and Alan arrive, and then we
will be off - at least for a week until they need to be back here for the return
ferry!
We have not been
totally idle - we hired a jeep and explored the island, and we went to the
open-air cinema to enjoy a film (in English with Greek subtitles). Steve
has been diving- his first dive for pleasure after completing the SCUBA course -
and he enjoyed it enormously as there was no skills practice to do!
Steve's sister-in-law Sue and family are here in Skiathos on holiday, and we met
up with them on Monday and caught up with news.
Stitches out on
Friday, then Chris can go swimming again.
Looking forward to
Saturday to see old friends and do some sailing.
