We were awake early this morning and decided to get up for a haircut. We had been meaning to have a haircut for the last few days – but in the evening there was too much swell in the bay from the jet and water skiers. We managed to trim our hair – the only mishap was the scissors performing a triple back summersault and ending up overboard midway through Anne’s haircut. Did you know that nail scissors really don’t cut hair too well!!   We then both jumped into the sea to wash off the loose hair.

After a shower and breakfast we headed off into town with the laptop. We needed some good wifi connections to look at the weather in detail and plan our next steps as well as to post some photo’s on the blog. We also popped into the chandlery for a few very small bits and stocked up with a bit more food.

On the way back to the boat the wind had picked up causing plenty of “spray” . Luckily the laptop was safely wrapped up in many layers of plastic. With the wind we had to practice our “hat overboard” procedure. The hat was safely rescued, washed and will live another day!

This afternoon we raised the dingy on the davits with the outboard motor still on the dinghy. Anne made up a third strap and the dinghy appears to be well secured for short passages.

The temperature has been creeping up and so Koshka and Yoyo are sleeping all day. First mate Koshka is keeping watch overnight from the spray hood, while Skipper Yoyo pops out from time to time to check he is OK.
