Today was a much better day – lots of activity and things to explore. The day started with Stephen having a water fight with the boat – the boat won (ie Wanda got less wet than he did!). I think he was trying to clean the boat and fill up the water tanks. I watched for a bit and then ran inside – I don’t like water anymore.

He serviced the engine so I helped by exploring the engine room – I was very careful not to get oily. He did everything except change the oil as there was no one around to unlock the waste oil container.

Anne repaired the quilt cover with the sewing machine, went shopping and then cleaned all the windows and hatches after Stephen’s water fight. Finally she repaired Stephen’s sailing shoes by re-stitching them back together so they can last a little longer. I think they are saving money so they can buy me more tuna.

In the afternoon Stephen made courgette, mint and feta rissoles – another Delia recipe. Stephen made lots of mess and enjoyed himself.

In the evening they were both well enough to join the parties again – so they accepted the invite of a glass of wine from the Hollingclough’s. They said they would only be gone 1 hour. 3 hours later they retuned….really….have they learnt nothing from their bodies telling them to slow down…..
