We headed off bright and early to explore Denia. We found lots of boutiques (good for window shopping), yummy cake shops and a brilliant local market. We bought a large chunk of fresh tuna. We tend to buy large chunks of tuna so there is a chance there is some left for us after our tuna eating machine (aka Yoyo) has finished. We also stocked up on fresh veg. Unfortunately we found the market early in our walk round Denia and so cut short our exploring as we had a rucksack full of food. We did however find a very interesting hardware shop.

When we returned we started on a few odd jobs around the boat, including starting to experiment with extra insulation for the windows. It’s starting to get hot now.

In the afternoon we went back into town for some more exploring, mainly to have a really good look round the hardware shop.

This evening we cooked our tuna. Apparently cats don’t like lemons, hence cooking the tuna in a lemon butter is a guaranteed way to stop Yoyo eating it. Except the lure of tuna overcomes any dislikes of lemon.

This evening we were treated to a thunder storm and heavy rain. At least it should keep the mossi’s away.
