Cascais - When we use to live on land
38:41.606N 9:24.975W Today Stephen managed to get the outboard going. It was
quite simple when he figured it out – salt crystals had built up in the
water cooling out-pipe so when it was cleaned all worked ok. He was then a little
boy with a new toy zooming around the marina. After saying goodbye to Marcel and Kate in the last few
days, today we said goodbye to Chris & Jen (Mistletoe). They are off delivery
skippering a boat and we will probably be gone before they return. Its going to
be strange sailing on our own not looking out for Mistletoe in the distance J. We went out for a meal with Mistletoe and the Hollingsclough’s
last night (they also have an Oyster and we keep bumping into them – not literally!).
Anne came out with the phrase “when we use to live on land” so we
have decided the boat is now truly our new home. |
