As today was Saturday we got up and went across to the farmers market. Each week we see a new type of bird being sold. Today it was pigeons. We did wonder how you get your bird home; maybe you have to take a cage along with you. I don’t think a live pigeon would travel well in a plastic bag!

Back at the boat Anne did some paper work while Stephen popped out to the supermarket for a few bits we didn’t get at the market.

After lunch we did a jigsaw. It was very easy – just two pieces of canvas trying to work out how they cover the boat to give shade from the sun. I mean how many combinations can there be as to where they fit on the boat. Maybe changing the rigging so it didn’t fit anymore made it a little more complex; this game kept us amused all afternoon before we, along with some help from Richard on Pyxis, finally figured it out. It looks like Anne needs to use her sewing machine to make some alterations to the covers. Or maybe she’ll be teaching Stephen how to sew…

Once again after dinner we played Scrabble and watched a DVD
