We are still here in Cartagena. The wind has not been quite right for moving on.

We have been busy though. Anne has been working on the Bimini, which was installed on Friday morning. It works as well as the existing frame will allow. Although overnight (Friday/Saturday) we did find that when it gets windy it comes undone and is in danger of blowing away. A bit of a design modification is required.

Friday morning we recognized Pyxis and Moonshadow approaching the marina – so later in the morning we popped over to see them. We then headed off to the supermarket. We tidied the boat a bit more (this seems to be a never ending job.)

Friday evening we went over to Rafiki for sundowners (well early sundowners given that the sun goes down at 9.30pm). We also had an impromptu dinner on Rafiki which was some food from both boats destined for dinner. We genuinely had a really enjoyable evening.

Saturday the rain set in so we spent the day onboard going through the mountain of articles we had pulled out of the sailing magazines before we left the UK. Koshka and Yoyo slept most of the time – they don’t like the wet weather (neither do we!!). It will definitely be a quiet night in tonight.
