36:08.940N 5:21.304W This morning the gear box was refitted. Stephen helped out
while questioning the engineer to learn more about engines. We also rechecked
the alignment of the gear box to the drive shaft – all was well. We ran
the engine and it worked with no problems – no leaking water or oil. Now all we need is the Raymarine bits changed and for our
post to arrive. This afternoon we ordered the cat food from Morrisons. It
should last for a year or, if the cats open the cupboard door, until they are
very fat! This evening we went to Touche for drinks and met several
other people as well. We are really ready to leave as soon as we have all the bits
sorted and can’t wait to get back to exploring the world. |
