When we got up the day was bright and sunny. We set off on a leisurely drive to the airport to pick up Nigel and Alan, friends from the UK who have come out to visit us. We stopped off at various shopping centres on the way. Our best find being the large Jumbo supermarket near the airport; there was a Jumbo supermarket in Cascais and they had some own brand foods which were very good. We haven’t been able to get these since leaving Cascais so we made sure we were well stocked up.

We arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare. As the plane arrived from the UK the sky turned from blue to grey and it started raining. Nigel and Alan really did bring the bad weather with them!! On the drive back to Lagos we did see hints of blue sky, but nothing stayed.

This evening we went out to the Adega de Marina restaurant and had another excellent meal there. After a drink back on the boat Alan & Nigel headed off to the apartment they booked for the weekend.  

Koshka & Yoyo had a day sleeping and very little access to the outside world. However they did get a large bundle of their favorite cat treats from Alan and some fish left over from our meal out.
