Today we used the hire car to take Richard & Karen “kicking and screaming” around all the supermarkets. Karen wanted to see where she could buy the cheapest potatoes and we wanted to show her! Actually the real mission was to find a connector wire for their new speakers (we failed but had good fun anyway).

We also visited Portimao marina and saw a beautiful beach (but no shops selling potatoes).

We returned the hire car today so its back to work tomorrow.

We had a quiet night in watching a DVD despite the “party people” trying to entice us out of bed at midnight for a drink.
