Today we decided to get the train to Faro. We got up bright and early (well 07.45 is early for us) and got ready to go. The weather forecast was for showers but the morning was bright and sunny.

We got the train from Lagos and sat back and enjoyed the pretty, albeit slow journey to Faro.

When we got to Faro we did our usual trick of heading off in the slightly wrong direction, but eventually found the old town. We soon realised that the centre of Faro was not a large place. So after a quick lunch we walked round the shops and then got the early train back to Lagos. The highlight of the day was the train journey!

Once back in Lagos we had dinner and watched a DVD once again.
