Lagos: Electricity for Dummies
37:06.612N 8:40.477W Blog by Yoyo the cat. Once again Mum & Dad have failed to write the blog –
so it’s down to me to do it. Friday – Dad carried on with the forward shower and
wired up the shower pump. First time it wasn’t exactly correct –
but the second attempt it worked fine (actually he had a 50/50 chance of
getting it right so if it didn’t work on the 2nd attempt he
would not be able to call himself an electrician!). Mum spent the morning
writing emails and letters. In the afternoon they went out to the post office, then Dad
went up to the DIY store to get some more plumbing bits. I think he must be
planning to open his own store – he has so many bits now. We then all watched a DVD and had another quiet night in.
Highlight of the evening was me being sick – one too many cat treats I
think!! Saturday – is Market day. Mum & Dad got up early
and after Koshka and I had a run around the deck before they locked us in and
went off to the market. They failed to bring me back any fish. However they did
see snails being sold today. Guess it must be snail season! The giant cabbages
have nearly all gone – the picture below is one Mia took last weekend. After they returned, mum and dad made lots of noise washing
the decks. Koshka and I hate that bit – all we can hear is water being
sprayed around – and we hate getting wet. Dad then went back to his plumbing. |
