Lagos
37:06.612N 8:40.477W The weather appears to have returned to normal, blue skies,
sunny and warm. In the morning we did some laundry to take advantage of a
good drying day. We then made some Mincemeat. Yes we know we should have made
it months ago but we didn’t think we’d miss mince pies. Now it’s
almost Christmas the thought of Christmas without mince pies was unbearable. This afternoon we walked down to the beach. It was the first
time we had ventured to the beach. It is a perfect beach – nice and
clean. We went for a bit of a paddle – and actually the water was warmer
than we expected. We even remembered to take the camera with us, as we have had
requests for more photo’s in the blog. When we got back to the boat we made the mince pies. We had
a quiet evening in reading and watching DVD’s. Richard popped over for a
while and was force fed a mince pie. Karen was feeling a bit under the weather
so we sent Richard back with a mince pie to force feed Karen. Stephen has declared he is now ready to start working on
bits around the boat. He expects to start bright and early in a couple of days,
say the 25th. 1st job is taking the ceiling down in the
bedroom starting at 6am. Oh no he’s
not - Anne
