We declared a “cat recovery” day today to let the cats chill out after yesterdays sail (and to be honest it allowed us to catch up on some R&R!)

We had a lie in, went shopping (hey Ramsgate a lot better than Hollyhead), fixed the fire extinguisher and blankets in place and did our passage plan to Brighton. This proved quite tricky with the tides and timing of when to get past Dover (we need to get past Dover in the daylight and for the tides to be with us so we pass quickly to minimize the time we spend playing “dodge the ferrys”).
