Vilamoura
37:04.630N 8:07.268W After the shock of having to “work” a full day yesterday,
today was declared a national Wandering Dragon holiday. So after a leisurely
breakfast we headed off round Vilamoura. First stop was at the Roman Villa. We
had an interesting time wandering around the excavated remains of the roman
villa. At various points they had signs explaining what you were looking at and
an artists impression of how it would have looked in Roman times. It was nice
just to be able to walk around ruins without too many fences. After the
Roman Villa we walked to a crazy golf place, but after checking the price
decided to give that a miss. We then went back to the boat via the supermarket.
This afternoon we read a few books and walked to the marina
office and then had a quiet night in. Underfloor heating for the heated pool Mosaic floor in the entrance halls of the Villa More mosaic floor |
