Today, Sunday, was clothes washing and boat cleaning day.

We realised that we desperately need to buy a new vacuum cleaner to get all the cat fur cleaned up. Sorry Koshka – but the alternative is we shave you as we have fur balls rolling along the boat.

We also fitted a new outboard bracket to the stern of the boat so we can store the outboard on the boat when we are sailing. Previously we had it in the lazaret which made it difficult to get out and used loads of space.

Today felt like a quiet day as all our friends have left. It does mean that we are now more likely to get going and move on. Cascais Marina is very large and it is difficult to meet new people.

Today’s interesting fact: The point of land near Cascais is the most western point in Europe.

p.s. this is the first interesting fact we have included so don’t panic if you think you missed any!
