On Monday we woke up to an overcast day. After a lazy morning (it’s funny how moods reflect the weather) Anne went for a walk into town, and got rather wet in a heavy rain shower. Stephen still wasn’t feeling too good so spent a restful afternoon reading.

We had hoped to go out and socialise a bit this evening, but decided Stephen still wasn’t up to it. We had a quiet evening in. In the end we were quite glad we didn’t go out as it started raining, wind howling and Thunder and Lightening. We were glad to be tucked up safely inside Wanda

Overnight the rain, wind, Thunder & Lightening continued on and off. We were really glad to be safely in a Marina.

Tuesday morning the rain continued. During a lull we decided to head into town to go to the Post office. We managed to get there OK but after checking out the Market and visiting the cash point we got rather wet walking back to the Marina. After lunch we had a game of scrabble. It really feels like a camping holiday back in the UK.

Koshka and Yoyo are getting a bit fed up of all the rain. Yoyo was sitting on the top step of the companionway wanting us to open up the hatch even though it was chucking it down with rain.

About 14.30 the rain stopped and the sun came out again. Once we opened up the hatch Yoyo jumped out onto deck. She has been happily sat on deck, even though the decks are soaking wet. Koshka even ventured out between showers and explored next doors boat a little more – he really is getting adventurous now.

Tuesday night was spent on Pyxis playing scrabble and drinking wine. We made it back to our boat without getting wet.

The rain is starting to get boring now, where has the sun gone?
