Life is calming down now (the livers can’t take it!). Yesterday was boat maintenance day checking over the battering Wanda took across the bay. We realised we very nearly lost our hydrovane (self steering mechanism). I never knew nyloc nuts could wriggle loose. Stephen went out to buy a few spares to replace the broken mizzen traveler and some more gas.

In the evening we went for a few glasses of wine with some people on another Oyster. It turned out one guy knew Stephen’s dad quite well. Is there anywhere in the world I can go without my parents embarrassing me!
