We spent the day preparing for our next passage. Stephen checked the engine while Anne plotted the course on the charts and programmed the computer. We also did a last minute load of washing as the machines are new here (we saw them being installed last week). We cleaned the boat, filled up with water, sorted out the tender and tested the forward heads after replacing all the pipe work – it works fine. It been a busy day and we are not quite sure where all the time went.

The weather was much better today - it didn’t rain!

Pyxis came around this evening for a quick drink and to say hello and goodbye. We spent last year trying to catch them up – this year it’s their turn to catch us up J
