Today’s blog is by Koshka:

We had a very sleepless night last night, raining all night and rocking and rolling. I’m sure we must have been sailing to a new place. I managed to go outside today for 5 minutes and noticed we were still in Lagos. Even I have the 3 month Lagos itch and want to move on now. After loosing all my sleep last night I spent the day catching up.

Bleary eyed, I noticed my mum was sewing a new pair of shorts for dad. I don’t mind the sewing machine – its not too noisy unlike the vacuum cleaner.

Dad spent the day doing some very boring wet Sunday afternoon stuff – reading about paying voluntary NI and trying to understand the tax implications of being non resident in the UK.

Yoyo mostly slept, she had a little run around session playing with our new toys Mia and Michele bought for us. I followed the rolling balls with my eyes and decided that was enough exercise for the day.

With the wind still howling at 30 knots, and the rain continuing, mum and dad watched a dvd and went to bed early. I never really did get up today hence I was still in bed…and I stayed there.
