Thursday 6th July, 2023.

We woke to another beautiful sunny morning in heaven. With the days starting to be numbered before we go home it was decided we would make to Poros and anchor in Navy Bay to have dinner at the White Cat. Tricia and Clive go home 12 days before us so we are all thinking about where we should be on the right dates. This weather is amazing and we are so lucky we can’t believe our luck.
Yesterday afternoon a lady managed to drive her car over the edge of the harbour wall and luckily it landed in shallow water. There was lots of activity for several hours until it was lifted out and taken away. The port police were in attendance with their clip board and the lady’s handbag was found in the car before it was taken away. She did pose for photos we could see from Ariel. Wasn’t her lucky day as the car looked quite new.
We sailed nearly all the way only taking the main sail down in line with Russian Bay. A nice little wind kept us moving not fast but steady for the 20.92 miles.
Lots of birds on the water chasing small fish but we didn’t see anything big or dolphins working.
Navy Bay is absolutely packed with boats and many on unofficial moorings while people have left their boats and gone home.
We are outside my favourite house in Greece and well dug in we think and hope!!!
Restaurant booked and drinks invitation accepted all sorted for this evening.
