Monday, 24th September, 2012.

I paid the port authority and went to another office to get the Greek sailing document stamped and pay the 88 cents charge so we were legally allowed to leave Aigina port.

I had been shopping, Jim had helped Brian with some boat repairs and we both said our goodbyes to the very nice people we had met over the weekend before we left the harbour for the motor over to Angistri.   The wind for the next few days is going to be nonexistent so we have decided we can moor in the little harbour of Angistri without any worries.

Angistri was originally run by Albanians but today the villas above the harbour have been built by German people who come here for the holidays.

While sitting on Ariel talking to another Cruising Association member we had a remote controlled flying camera hovering over the harbour talking photographs.  We didn’t know we were so famous!

Tuesday, 25th September, 2012.

We took the local bus which meets the hydrofoil from the harbour into Skala where we walked around the village and enjoyed the beautiful views across the water.  We swam in the very blue water and have decided to stay another couple of nights as it is so beautiful here.

The water temperature is 25 degrees today and still very warm to swim in.  The temperature in the shade is 30.
