Wednesday 7th June, 2023.

Left Porto Heli around 9.25 am and after a cracking sail arrived in the harbour of Sampetiki at 11.55 am. The main was out and the genoa with speeds of 8 knots plus most of the way. The engine wasn’t on long enough to heat the water!
Anchor down near the beach and motor back onto the harbour wall. Only five of us last night and it’s very quiet. The quay takes a maximum of 6 boats so it was such a relief to see only one mast. Small fishing boats are in the shallows at the head of the harbour.
The harbour wall is enormous and protects the houses on the beach. Some EU money and local residents paid to have it erected.
One little taverna on the beach where we are going to eat tonight. No menu just what they have on offer at the time.
This is bliss!!!!

We have found so many less boats on the water this year but whether this is the financial situation or the 90 day problems we don’t know.
