Vathy, Methani.

Saturday 19th September, 2015.

Once we left the Poros channel and headed out towards Aegina the wind was against us.  It is amazing how in Russian Bay it was just so still and we were hidden from the true strength of the wind.  No sailing today just the trusted motor.  No leaks, no hoots so we are happy.

We motored 16.8 miles into the little harbour of Vathy where only three or four were stern too on the wall.  We had passed some of the most beautiful scenery in Greece.  The little or not so little Greek houses along the shore or up in the mountains looking down on this wonderful location must be breath taking to see it every day.  We are very lucky to share this experience for just a few weeks of the year.

The lady with the red tablecloths didn’t disappoint us with her fabulous food.  Staying here for three nights as it is delightful.
