It’s great to be back in Greece after a long winter.  We were loaded on to the plane at Heathrow and the door closed before time but we were 1 1/2 hours late taking off with no explanations but being moved a few yards every so often on the runway. Our family thought the plane had mechanic troubles as the plane tracker kept being turned off but Finnish airlines curtsy of BA got us to Athens 3/4 hour late.
Luckily we were met and 3 hours later we were unlocking Ariel. It was good to see her and no problems could be seen. We stayed at an apartment for three nights just to give ourselves some time to catch up on sleep and shower easily.
We worked hard on copper coating a third of the hull where Jim finds it more difficult to dive and rub off any barnacles. It is 13 years ago we first copper coated Ariel in Spain.  The silver blue on the sides needed a good polish which with the weather being right was done.

So many little jobs but after a few days of work we went in the water on Wednesday.

A few more jobs on the water and we are ready for our cruising summer.

A Dokas salad for the first night on the water. We saw the turtles possibly one or several a few times which is always a pleasure. It’s good to be back👍
