It was another 23.8 miles from Fokianos to Kiparissiou and again we had to motor much to Jim’s annoyance as he loves to have the sails up and the engine silent.
It took us just two hours to motor along the coast enjoying the tree covered mountains all the way.
We came here about ten years ago when we came around the Peloponnese. It is the place Princess Diana is famed for as her last place enjoying herself swimming and water skiiing from the yacht she was on before she flew to Paris on her last journey.
We managed to anchor and pull back on the church cove small quay being very careful to miss the rubble in the water.
The mosquitoes smelt new blood and were on us before we had tied up. All the sprays came out and after a while went away to pester someone else.
